Who We Are...

Founded in April of 1988, and under the spiritual guidance of Rabbi Eliyahu Rabovsky since 1990, Young Israel of Boca Raton stands ready to further impact one of North America’s fastest growing Jewish communities, South Palm Beach County Florida. Young Israel is located on a magnificent 3.5-acre campus situated in Boca Del Mar, north of Palmetto Park Road. The synagogue serves as a center of Jewish identity and education for our community. Young Israel is that warm and friendly shul where each individual counts, and where Jews of all ages and backgrounds are warmly welcome.

Young Israel of Boca Raton is located within a very large eruv community. The eruv is currently expanding. The new eruv boundaries will encompass all homes within walking distance of Young Israel. The community consists of a variety of housing including single-family homes, town houses, condominiums, and rental apartments. We believe that there is a place for everyone in our community.
